The Best Homemade Chex Mix

There’s nothing better than a big batch of warm, savory Chex Mix straight from the oven. This version is crunchy, salty, a little nostalgic, and absolutely irresistible. The addition of everything bagel chips and goldfish crackers makes it extra fun and kid-approved.
Make a batch for holiday snacking, movie nights, gifting… or just because it’s the best snack ever.
Ingredients
Seasoned Butter Mixture
8 tablespoons salted butter, melted
1 ½ teaspoons seasoned salt (such as Lawry’s)
¾ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Snack Mix
3 cups Rice Chex
3 cups Corn Chex
3 cups Wheat Chex
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup everything bagel chips, broken into bite-sized pieces
1 cup mini pretzels
1 cup Goldfish crackers
Instructions
Make the seasoned butter:In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, seasoned salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
Combine the mix-ins:In a very large bowl, add the Rice Chex, Corn Chex, Wheat Chex, mixed nuts, bagel chips, pretzels, and Goldfish. Toss gently to mix.
Coat the mixture:Pour the seasoned butter evenly over the cereal mixture. Use a large spatula or your hands to toss until everything is fully coated.
Bake:Divide the mix between two baking sheets.Bake at 325°F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even toasting.
Cool:Remove from the oven and let the mix cool completely on the baking sheets.
Store:Once cool, transfer to an airtight container. Chex Mix keeps great at room temperature for up to a week.
Tips & Variations
Swap Goldfish for Cheez-Its, or add oyster crackers.
Add a dash of hot sauce to the butter mixture for a little heat.
If you like it extra crispy, bake for an additional 10–15 minutes.
